Customer Testimonials

We purchased an extended warranty (I know, I know) and when we sold the car we contacted Chris Curry to get a refund on the warranty. we send in the paperwork he requested and he told us they owed us $1,837.56. We never received it. I have called and emailed him several times but they refuse to give us back the money that is ours. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy!

The service department at this dealership is extremely unprofessional and rude. They only service customers who they like. They kept my vehicle for a week without a diagnosis and wanted to charge me $360 for letting it sit in their parking lot, When asking for a service receipt detailing what all had been done to the car to warrant the diagnosis fees, they told me to never come back. They did not provide any updates about my car unless I called and asked them. They kept giving me the run around about waiting for the Ford Tech line to reach out ...

My wife and I had an excellent experience at SONS Ford Auburn. Mason Mayes was the salesman that assisted us and he made the experience seamless. I would definitely recommend using Mason and his support team.

Do not do business with this dealership!!! ever!!!!. they use arbitration agreements to lure you into thinking they have sold you a vehicle. They have shady finance deals and will let you leave the lot after signing papers only to call you weeks later and tell you the bank deal fell through. Wasted an entire day sitting.only to get hooked into a shady deal. The finance manager Chris is the most uncaring selfish and rude person ever at a dealership! If i could give him zero stars for I would! HE is the epitome of what you don't ...

DO NOT DO BUSINESS W/ THESE PEOPLE First off, let me start by saying this … I worked at a Acura dealership in the service department for 6 years. As a mechanic! So, I pretty much know what goes on in the service area at a car dealership. I have also owned several vehicles and, had to deal with service departments. We experienced a total tire failure where it blew on the interstate (85) at 70 m.p.h. Luckily, we were right at the exit to Son’s Ford of Auburn. We limped it up the off-ramp to the hotel across the street ...

They should be your first stop! They have very friendly none judgmental sales professionals who will help you in every way to make your experience the best you'll ever have. You have a lot to choose from when stopping here. The vehicles if you're looking to purchase used are clean, smells nice, and look as if they came off the showroom floor. They have what it takes to earn your business. Before going anywhere else in that area for an vehicle, stop here first.

Brian Jones was an exceptional salesman on our purchase of the 2012 JeepWrangler. Highly recommend Sons Ford in Auburn Al.

They sold me a wonderful used car that exceeded expectations! Great price! The sales and management staff were respectful and kind. I will go back for sure!

Buying a car from this dealership started off as a pleasant experience, but then turned awful quickly. My husband and I purchased a Lincoln Aviator and after 2 days noticed a sound that sounded like bad shocks and struts. Took the vehicle in a they supposedly replaced the shock on one side. We got the vehicle back 1 week later and hearing the same sound, only worse now. We also started having multiple dash lights coming on for malfunctioning parts of the vehicle. Was able to get vehicle back to the service department, and I was told that the shocks and struts ...

Mike at Reds auto and truck was a true professional who answered all the questions we had about the truck. We did end up buying from Mike as our sales representative. I would go back to them to buy another vehicle. This dealership was recommended to us and do not regret going to them and would highly recommend them.

We just had our 3rd and absolute last experience with them there at Sons Ford. My son goes to school in Auburn, we had a problem with a seat in his car the first time. They had to replace it, and couldn't get a bolt out and said they would have to replace the entire seat as they would have to cut the frame of the seat, they quoted over 2000 for this repair as they were pricing a new seat in a car that was 7 years old. I found and sourced a used seat for 400, instead of replacing the ...

I have grave concerns regarding the recent service debacle I experienced at SONS Ford Auburn. To put it bluntly, their handling of my truck has been an absolute disaster, leaving it in a state of disrepair that is both infuriating and unacceptable. Let's rewind to April 1, 2024, when I made the grave mistake of entrusting SONS Ford Auburn with my vehicle. What should have been a simple fix for malfunctioning windows turned into a 43-day nightmare of incompetence and negligence on their part. Not only did they fail to resolve the initial issue, but they managed to introduce a laundry ...

We were looking for a basic truck and Buck went outside and came back with just what we needed. He helped us with paperwork and everything else before and after the sale. Thanks Buck.

I have bought two cars at Sons Ford and have always been extremely satisfied with their customer service.

I had a pretty good experience with this dealership. A lot of back-and-forth on getting the deal done as you would find most places. I would have to say that the best part of the experience that saved it for me was our sales person Brian. He was refreshingly sincere and honest throughout the process. I very much felt like he cared not only about doing his job but about us and treating us well and Fairly through the process. If I go back to buy again, I will definitely be asking for Brian.

1st if I could give no stars I would. I'm a 100% service connected disabled service member and retired Army. I purchase my dream car on line from Sons Ford. When I finally received the car paying to have it delivered and when it finally arrived these are the concerns these are the issues I had found. 1. The battery was only putting out 9 volts I needed to replace the battery. 2. Passenger side windshield wiper was partly torn, Replaced the wipers. 3. Brakes pulsated thru the brake pedal. Took it to a real mechanic and found that the front rotors were warped ...

I absolutely HATE this ford! The girl who works in the front is very rude and unprofessional and their boss is even worse! Me. Scott denied giving me service on my car because my boyfriend use to work there. I scheduled a drop off and every thing & he sent him a text message saying come back and get it they’re not working on it because of him! I have NEVER been to such an unprofessional place in my life! I go miles out the way to a different Ford just to get my car serviced! Ridiculous!

I had spoken to a salesmen by the name of Corey about a 2021 Toyota Avalon TRD upon me coming to the dealership that we previously spoke the car was sold the night before and Corey didn't even have the decency to call or write me, we agreed on meeting at noon Dec 16,2023 as I pulled in the lot I was then told the Avalon was sold another salesman by the name of Josh came over to talk as I was writing Corey "that was in the building" Josh then asked for my name and said he'll ...

The Chad wood was very helpful and friendly with my car buying needs. I will be coming back in the future

The bipolar reviews of this place should tell you all you need to know. I had both the dealership that I purchased my truck from and the dealership I do service with demand I call the Ford Service 1800 number because of the situation Sons Ford placed me in. Vehicle still under warranty and months to order and fix.

My initial experience with this dealership was horrible. Shannon and Thomas are service writers at this location and their customer service and professionalism are far below sub-par. After three months of calling, stopping by, sending emails etc and neither of them returning my call regarding replacing the parking brake cable (which they had the part for) on my vehicle. If my last interaction with this dealership was with either of them, I would not go back and would file a complaint with Ford. Having said that I attempted one more time to get the needed repairs done. When I walked ...

What a wonderful place to buy a car. The entire team is wonderful. If the owners read this. They need to know they have a fantastic team. Love me some Sons Ford.

Do not buy a vehicle here! Worst service manager I have ever encountered! Brand new f150 and no radio! Black screen! Had vehicle 3 weeks! Service manager refused to do the paperwork to repair it due to a review my husband left about the radio! So unprofessional!!

I made a service appointment on the Sons Ford web site for Ford's Customer Satisfaction Program 21B10 for my 2018 F150. This CSP is for an update to the powertrain control module (PCM) to increase oil flow to the cam phasers. This is supposed to help prevent a rattling noise in the engine and when it's done Ford gives you an extended warranty if the cam phasers fail. After making the 45-minute drive over to Auburn a very unfriendly service advisor told me that they would not do the update unless the engine was already making the noise. This ...

Sales department great but service department has Very bad communication skills I am still waiting for a call about a tire and wheel . When I made my appointment I choose shuttle service but it was not offered when I got there, I work night shift so it was very inconvenient for me to wait 3 hrs, never was I offered anything to drink I had to ask.My car sat there ready fo a while before I asked them about it since it was sitting out front. Unsatisfied Customer

Awesome Service Department! I highly recommend, new manager cares about the customers. You will not be disappointed!

Michael Davila at Son's Ford was amazing to work with! Helped us a lot with needed repairs on the used car we bought and was very good at communicating with us. Would buy additional vehicles from them if I had to.

I have never dealt with a more incompetent and underhanded dealership in my life. And we've bought a lot of cars. They obtained the incorrect payoff on my car. Apparently they can't follow clear directions when calling a finance company. So they claimed to be the owner, not a dealer. I specifically told the salesman that I had to have payoff or no deal. He told me he got payoff. We drove from Atlanta to Auburn to purchase the car. Once home and after having the car for a few weeks, I found out that the dealership didn'...

I purchased a car from this dealership but they did not follow through on promises made. They will now not return phone calls or respond to emails. They made the sale so now they don’t care about customer service! I would definitely not recommend trading with Sons Ford!

just now Kept my newly purchased car for 45 days to fix a fuel guage not working. Tore the under cover of the front bumper. Had to fix it myself. Right front tire was leaking air. Took to a tire store couldnt be fixed due to it had a plug so had to buy a tire. Yes, a plug in a front tire. Not a patch.. Service Manager does not care about the customers. Techs dont care.

I purchased my 2013 F-150 from Austin Mckerley in September 2018. He was truly honest and up front about the entire deal, and we ended up purchasing a great truck at a great price. Jody Fowlow, the GSM, took care of our financing. He was a really nice guy, and very funny! While we were waiting in the lobby to sign our papers, the General Manager, Richard Harrison, came out to shake our hands and thank us for our business. Austin later referred us to Mr. David Rusk for our service, and he was very friendly and helpful. Ryan, the Parts Manager, ...

Overall I’m pleased with the level of service from the sales department. All of my initial issues were rectified within a reasonable time and I’ve grateful for that. Cons: Subpar knowledge base on vehicle features, fluids weren’t topped off after purchase (radiator, windshield wiper fluid), missing truck bed cleats, not the greatest service department. Pros: Reasonably priced, accommodating to customer demands, military friendly, and great customer service. I Purchased a used 2016 Ford F-150 King Ranch SuperCrew

I went to purchase a new vehicle and had the best experience. Jody, Dan Tuck, and Jennifer we're absolutely awesome. Keep up the great work

I HAVE A 2015 LINCOLN MKS THAT HAD BATTERY PROBLEMS . THEY TRYED TO CLEAN THE POSITVE BATTERY POST AND CABLE, BUT STILL DON'T HAVE CLEAN.

First off yesterday I drove over an hour away to look at a truck that AUTONATION has and I get there about a hour before they close and nobody is there due to the Al/Ga football game. Ok next day I call and try to get more information on the price. They never could give me a straight answer. However a lady assured me that they are willing to do whatever it takes to make a deal happen. I set up an appointment to make sure somebody would be there. Get there look at the truck and ask about ...

My F150 oil light was coming on and off. I was in Auburn visiting my college students. I made a unexpected stop by Automation Auburn to the service department to get it checked out. David from the start asked the issue and immediately came out and looked at my truck. He was very nice and caring and got my truck into service within 15 minutes. He kept me informed and even offered us lunch. He made our near tragedy into a delightful visit. Thanks David!

Stan is A awsome guy. The man with the red jordans.Work with us till the end. Thanks we will send you some customers. The Wilson family. Montgomety al

Service department is horrible! I started having transmission problems when my Explorer had around 17,000 miles. Over the span of a year, I took my car in for service 4 times. The first 2 times they could find NOTHING wrong with my transmission, even though every time I drove it, the issue was there. On the third visit, they miraculously found "something" and supposedly fixed it. Two days later, same problems. Tried to schedule an appointment for 2 months (from Oct.-Dec.) every time I checked they were super busy and advised that I should wait. Finally got an appt. for Jan. ...

Service Dept. "fixed" my college student's truck, $900+. Would not start again a week later. Wanted another $900+ for a fuel pump. Charged for the 2nd tow after not fixed the first time. Now at another shop where the fuel pump will cost 1/2 as much.

Needed only to fill out a single warranty refund form. Made to wait over 45 minutes despite Feds office was vacant when I arrived. He could have given me the sheet and then dealt with others. I had a 1 year old and 2 year old waiting with me. VERY RUDE and waste of my time.

This is the worst service department I have ever dealt with in my life, unbelievable. Missing a second day of work cause they ordered wrong part and apparently can't put a fuel pump on within 48 hours... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I fully understand the one-star ratings this dealership get. If Google had a zero, by God they'd get it from me. My kids are at Auburn and their Ford broke down. Eight days later, despite being told day after day that our car would be ready the next day, they still haven't fixed it. Every single day, we have been told, "It will be ready tomorrow." Tomorrow comes, and still not done. No offer of a loaner, no nothing. Apparently, they have no compunction putting us off about delivery date. We've had to chase them ...

Bought Lincoln mks.with 60 000 miles. In 9 months at 70000 miles the engine was replaced at 4700. They originally wanted 8000 but after much discussion they reduced to 4700. 4 weeks later a sensor needed replaced at 450.00 then 6 weeks later car began stalling with wrench symbol. They claim they have no iidea what the wrench stands for! They replaced o.ring.and turbo line, changed oil at 390.00. The car has had oil change regularly except this tine. It was 2000 mikes overdue and they claim that's what caused it.. Three days later the car stalls, wrench light on I'm on 185 in Atlanta .The dealership said ...

The sales person, Chuck was very good. In my opinion, the back office, is not helping them. When completing paperwork, Alex, asked me if they could add a 0.25% to the rate, because his sales team were $(900.00) on the deal. I of course did not want to give the dealership anything. In my opinion, they should make the money on the truck not the loan. They were so busy trying to upsell, they titled the vehicle wrong. Now we need to re-work everything to make it work. I do not recommend this dealership.

I took my car there for a rear main seal and oill pan gasket. My car sound like a truck when IS picked it up, the technicians pretended not to hear the noise. I contacted the Corporate Office, which didn't do any good, This company does not care about the pretend repairs their technician does. Once they have your money there is nothing else they want to hear. My oil pan was still leaking, they told me not to bring my car backmk there anymore. I took my car to Opelika Dealership and found ut the noise is coming ...

Dishonest service department. Went in for service at this dealer under warranty twice and both times they didn't know or have a clue about what was covered on my car. They couldn't even give me a straight answer about service intervals. I had to call Lincoln customer service because they tried to charge me for warranty work. They didn't do a complete and honest inspection of my car. They marked off all items on my check list stating items were OK yet the next day I had tires put on my car and the tire shop found ...

I purchased a used car from Carl Gregory Ford and was pressured into financing a car that I had wanted to pay cash for because I had just that amount of money. I agreed to finance it because they made me wait to have the credit application filled out, etc. as long as it wouldn't cost me any more money. Richard Harrison, the Finance Manager insisted that it would be "same as cash" as long as I paid it before my first payment was due. I asked him several times point blank "Will I have to ...

Thomas is the friendliest and most knowledgable person in the car business that I know. He is a down to earth, caring and all around great guy. We have purchased 4 vehicles from Thomas over the past few years and have been VERY VERY pleased with the service before and after the sale. Go see him and tell him I sent you!

Thomas, thanks for everything!

Barbara

What a lousy place to buy a car. I snicker everytime I see on tv the local commercial advertised by CG FLM's little, fat, slimey general manager (Tony Hudgins), bragging about how great they are. #1: DO NOT BUY A FORD. #2: DO NOT BUY A FORD FROM THESE SHIESTERS. I have purchased 2 vehicles from them over the last 4 years. My first vehicle was a 1998 Ford Windstar, and what a bad decision that turned out to be. This van ONLY has 58K miles on it. Over the last 8 months I have spent $7,000 on a new engine, and, most recently, a new ...
